The ideal candidate will possess intimate knowledge of complexity and challenges surrounding at least one of the following products: McAfee Anti-virus/ePO, IntruShield, SCM, Citadel, and Foundstone, ArcSight, LogLogic, Symantec, Ounce Labs, SourceFire/SNORT, Nessus, Juniper/Netscreen, 3Com TippingPoint, and CheckPoint. Qualified candidates will lead by example, be self-motivated, have excellent interpersonal communication skills, and experience interfacing with clients.

Web 2.0 Developer

Due to rapid growth, Ciphent, Inc. has an immediate opening for a “Web 2.0 Developer” in our Baltimore and Austin offices. This position bridges the creative and technical aspects of development. The developer implements designs technically according to creative and art direction already established. As such, the qualified candidate must be able to work in and bridge the creative with the technical across a variety of platforms and frameworks. Developers work on dynamic front end layouts using a mixture of XHTML, DHTML, CSS (using table-less layouts), JavaScript, DOM, AJAX and other technologies.

McAfee Product Consultant

Vice President, Business Development Federal Sector

The Vice President of Business Development for the Federal Sector will be responsible for increasing Ciphent's presence in the U.S. Federal markets. The ideal candidate will posess over ten years experience in building direct and indirect relationships and channel opportunities for near-term growth. The candidate will also have already established relationships within cleared and public projects. The VP of Federal Business Development will be expected to create and execute an aggressive growth plan, create compensation packages for their team and provide quarterly forecasts with weekly status reports. This position reports directly to the CEO/President.

Department of Business Development

Ciphent is currently seeking a results-oriented, self-motivated, and flexible individual to oversee and grow channel sales. Qualified candidates must be able to travel and demonstrate the ability to manage numerous projects simultaneously. This position reports directly to the COO and is accountable for current Channel Sales activities. Job responsibilities to be commensurate with company growth. National/Regional Account Executive

Account Executive

A Ciphent Account Executive will be responsible for executing sales strategy in an assigned territory, industry, or targeted account to meet or exceed assigned revenue quota. While establishing relationships with key decision-makers (CIO, CSO, CTO, CISO), and driving the sales process through to completion, you are also expected to coordinate with the consulting and operational service teams in their region. Travel is required throughout the assigned territory, as well as providing weekly revenue forecasts.

Principal Consultant

At Ciphent we place a strong emphasis on education and learning. Although we understand that experience and insight go a long way in the technology field, there are several government and industry standards that will limit the career growth of a computer professional without a degree. As such, we require that all employees seeking to become a Principal complete a four-year degree program in an industry-related field. As a Principal Consultant, you will be expected to have in-depth knowledge of all areas in which a consultant is expected to have general knowledge.
