Account Executive

A Ciphent Account Executive will be responsible for executing sales strategy in an assigned territory, industry, or targeted account to meet or exceed assigned revenue quota. While establishing relationships with key decision-makers (CIO, CSO, CTO, CISO), and driving the sales process through to completion, you are also expected to coordinate with the consulting and operational service teams in their region. Travel is required throughout the assigned territory, as well as providing weekly revenue forecasts.

Candidates must possess the following qualifications:
• 3 years successful experience in sales of technology solutions directly to Corporate, Federal, or State Government Customers.
• Thorough knowledge of the computer, Internet, and security industry with extensive industry contacts.
• Proven ability to initiate, negotiate and close Enterprise sales opportunities.
• Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
• Should be familiar with the regulatory topics such as Sarbanes-Oxley, HIPPA, FISMA, PCI, etc. and in leveraging and incorporating this knowledge into a selling advantage.
• Must embrace the notion of 'sales discipline' and leverage a well thought out plan to rapidly develop territories into revenue contribution and rapidly move opportunities through the pipeline.
• Should be familiar with the basic concepts of service revenue recognition and be and willing to strategically structure deals to afford maximum revenue for the Company over the long term.
