Ciphent Selected to Speak at Lebanon Valley College
Chief Architect Jason Arnold to lend expertise at College’s Wired Colloquium Series
Baltimore, MD, February 9, 2010 – Ciphent, Inc. Chief Architect Jason Arnold will be the keynote speaker at Lebanon Valley College’s yearlong Wired Colloquium lecture series. The subject of Arnold’s presentation, Hackers for Hire, will detail modern issues in web security, emerging threats in the cyber security landscape, and the role of “good hackers” in combating cyber crime. The event, taking place February 11th at 7 P.M. in Zimmerman Recital Hall, is free and open to the public.
Arnold, a Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), has over 14 years of security focused experience and specializes in computer, network, and information security. As Ciphent’s Chief Architect and Managing Principal, Jason is responsible for developing vulnerability assessment and penetration testing tools, techniques and methodologies. He is actively engaged with enterprise level corporations, leveraging his expertise and custom R&D to secure their networks and protect their critical data.
