Ciphent, Inc. is seeking self-motivated, organized, ambirious individuals to serve as Security Product Consultants for an impressive roster of clients. We seek talented candidates who know how to get things done, and will motivate others to do the same. You will work closely with our Principals to lead your tema in completing high-profile, unparalleled quality projects on time and within budget.

The ideal candidate will possess intimate knowledge of complexity and challenges surrounding at least one of the following products: McAfee Anti-virus/ePO, IntruShield, SCM, Citadel, and Foundstone, ArcSight, LogLogic, Symantec, Ounce Labs, SourceFire/SNORT, Nessus, Juniper/Netscreen, 3Com TippingPoint, and CheckPoint. Qualified candidates will lead by example, be self-motivated, have excellent interpersonal communication skills, and experience interfacing with clients.

What will I be doing?
• Designing, advising, implementing, and integrating security products for Fortune 500 clients
• Training clients on the proper use of products, their features, and full capabilities
• Conducting network and application security assessments
• Interface with clients from proposal through delivery
• Communicate recommendations to clients in both written and oral form
• Prepare technical designs as well as high-level flowcharts and schematics
• Develop and maintain client loyalty
• Identify and implement improvements in existing processes and procedures.
• Coach other consultants on new products and techniques
• Responsible for managing Team’s projects from commencement to completion
• Effectively estimate the level of effort required to develop a project
• Segment tasks and delegate accordingly
• Aid in awareness of standards and best practices, as well as enforce these standards

What do I need to have to apply?
• Minimum 3 years of experience
• 4 year bachelor degree preferred (technical degree preferred)
• Minimum 2 years subject field experience (networking/consulting/programming/computer security)
• CISSP, MCSE, CNNA/CCIE, McAfee/Symantec, certification preferred
• Current knowledge of security threats, solutions, security tools and network technologies.
• An understanding or proficiency in information security and compliance regulations
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Superior problem-solving skills
• Experience with client interfacing situations and projects
